Fiddleback User Pics

We got the hiking buddy blades in today
Or
At least I saw them for the first time today

Phil, you are the coolest for always sharing what's going on in the shop.
Thanks but...
I'm not sure about all that
I did start out as a customer and from that perspective I like to share stuff that I still think is cool And would interest other sharks

Took my S35VN Recluse for a spin in the mountains the last 10 days. Nothing like white untouched powder without another human in sight:cool:

It was sweet:cool: Family loves the mountains too and the 2 year old has started skiing (short trips and he spends longer outings in a pulk)

Fresh tracks are a great thing to look back at. Especially when 'boarders don't ruin them.

^
Private sale
I can let him know you're interested
It joined another CF model in a collection we never get to see

Hey guys check out the Sneaky Pete in his new home.

JD from www.the710customsheaths.com made the sheath. He received the knife Mon (today) built it and it will be shipped back to me tomorrow (the next day)!

Great guy, also a member here on BF, excellent customer service and communication!

There are no boarders on these mountains, no ski lifts either. So if one wants to ski down a mountainside one has to climb the mountain first;)

I really like the arete profile. What a great knife. This one is in 5/32" SFT.

Here are some pics practicing making shavings and lighting them with a fire steel.

Great pics Hasco! I've been meaning to ask Fiddleback users about how they strike their ferro's, as all the Fiddies I have and have seen have beveled edges  Do ya'll carry a scraper? Do you use the edge? Seems a crime to alter the spine of such beautiful knives.

Thanks! I carry something to strike with, but I think there are a few folks who actually have modified the spine. I have to say though, I love working long periods with the fiddleback chamfered spine. It is worth it to me to carry something extra. It would be cool to have a small portion of the spine without the chamfer.
