Very nice!

Awesome!! Hard to tell with the lighting but it's looks like either a Chlorophyllum or Coprinus.

I love that F2!

Hi Everyone,

I've been here a couple of months and have swam with the Sharks but never introduced myself.

I'm a Louisiana transplant to East Tennessee and spend a lot of time outdoors. One of my other interest is shown in the picture along with my first Fiddleback with a custom sheath made by Mark @ Condos.

Have a good hump day.

How are you liking the wrapped patch? I ask because I thought that might be a good way to start Alayna on her first Fiddleback. A Rustic one would let me see it in use in her hand, wouldn't cost as much, and would work in other projects anyway if I then got her a phenolic handled one.

I have to say the Rusticwraps are fantastic. At first, I thought they wouldn't fill my hand and eventually cause some issues, but so far, they are working out great! I personally carry them in the woods and also use them around the house. They are very lightweight and get the job done. If I'm gonna use them for an extended period of time, I'll wear gloves.

I would agree with most of what Riverwarrior said. They are super light weight and a nice low cost. Downsides for me is the handle is uncomfortable for longer periods of time and I honestly find the narrowness of the handle irksome sometimes since I have large hands and seem to find myself shifting the grip of my fingers, especially when using it on wood. Can't imagine that would be a problem for your daughter though! I've got a scandi Terrasaur, just for reference. Also something to consider is that I attached a bright lanyard because the hemp handle has the habit of blending into dirt, leaves, and foliage, etc.

Not really user pics but had to share.

Every time I open a package from the forge I feel like this.
