Enjoy!

Oh man! I'm totally doing this with some elk and wild mushrooms. Awesome idea. Looks delicious.

That looks great
Nice job!!

I've never had it myself but chef Ramsey will chew your button if you do that make it right according to hells kitchen

Honestly, I think it's a waste of a perfectly good tenderloin, but my wife loves them. So I made them for her.

Haha! I could see that being the case. I would probably use the end hunk of a backstrap for it, the stuff that's too small to turn into good steaks. Though it's a little different when you pay $20+ a pound for the meat. I paid $45 bucks for the elk tag and got a couple hundred pounds of meat.

Much better idea! [emoji106] I told her next time I buy tenderloin (and it'll probably be a while) it's going on the grill!

How about some Stone Crab Claws ala old school KE Bushie scandi:

You are correct, you only harvest one claw so they can still feed themselves with the pincer while they regenerate their crusher.

You are spot on Philip and TxSportsman has provided the details on how they regenerate. This season has been great so far. Plenty of product and fairly reasonable prices. What's interesting is that when we have warmer than average water temps the octopus thrive and feed on the stone crabs. The result is a low yield and higher prices. Amazing to think that a squishy beast with a sharp tooth can do a number on a critter with claws like this. So is the law of nature.

Well this isn't as a fine dish as some if the others but it was what I fixed momma toothpick for Valentine's day. We had blackened chicken( cause of my lack of culinary skills), mixed veggies and red wine. The lone star edc performed perfect with its 1/8 O1 blade.

Looks good!

Thanks tekton. The veggies were good, but I like using cabbage leaves to wrap them up and steam them on the grill. It works much better then foil.

Scandi Arete on its maiden voyage. What better way than some smoked baby back ribs.
Thanks again Fogdart!

Visiting a friend's farm who fancies his cooking skills. Spicy stew....

I had my Kephart and put it to use

First the skin needed to removed and the chicken cut into pieces and marinated. No problem whatsoever

After cutting through bones the Kephart was slicing paper thin slices of the onion

End product did not look that fancy but was the best stew I have ever had
