Honestly, I think it's a waste of a perfectly good tenderloin, but my wife loves them. So I made them for her.
Much better idea! [emoji106] I told her next time I buy tenderloin (and it'll probably be a while) it's going on the grill!Haha! I could see that being the case. I would probably use the end hunk of a backstrap for it, the stuff that's too small to turn into good steaks. Though it's a little different when you pay $20+ a pound for the meat. I paid $45 bucks for the elk tag and got a couple hundred pounds of meat. :thumbup:
