Fiddlebacks and Food

Fresh cucumber and new potatoes with turkey sliders. Not as fancy as Phililp's grilled plates but very good.

nice

i will say i can't make potato salad for #hit.
i have never been able to get the potatoes the correct consistency. i always have some that are not "done" enough and others that turn to mashed potatoes. I do try to keep the size of the chunks consistent so they cook evenly.

This thread always makes me hungry. Nice Bearcub Mist.

Thanks man. Totally digging the Bear Cub, wish I could give that hemp wrapped one a go just to see how it feels.

Well...you know...after that bacon kick I was on during the winter, I reckon I need to also be a good influence on the kiddo too :D

Healthier maybe, but I'm betting not tastier! That roast beef looks delicious.

Just fixed up a quick dinner for the wife and still had some sunset sun through the kitchen window. Love my Arowana

It's sausage, we cut up 6 of them and made a sausage and tomato salad.
Our kitchen is currently gutted so cooking is limited.

Tried out my little Lonestar as a steak knife with dinner last knight... My children thought it was a little odd but it had no trouble cutting meat.

Charcoal grilled NY Strip with lemon yogurt sauce garnished with radishes and Italian parsley; sautéed green beans in olive oil and garlic; gruyere cheese and rosemary/thyme soufflé; chilled cucumber/watercress soup accompanied with a nice Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.

I've been thinking that one of these would could pull double duty and would make for a good steak knife:
