My wife buys a couple of cases of vidalia onions when they're in season, then she cuts them up and puts them in freezer bags and we have vidalias all thru the winter! Not slices or chopped for hot dogs or burgers mind you, but for cooking.

There's this farm nearby that has the absolute best sweet corn on the planet! My wife always buys extra, then cuts the kernels off the cobb, then blanches and freezes them in freezer bags so we have this awesome sweet corn year round too.

A little flavor of summer goes a long way to temper the long Wisconsin winters...
 
Tonight I didn't need a cutting device but here's some food and a new glaze I found That I LOVE..

So I read that a Matador was gored to day. First in 30 yrs that died in the ring...
Not something I understand and I witnessed one years ago. Truly a blood sport...probably why I got the red handles.

But my Matador is used well.



 
Jerk chicken tonight. Kylie was so funny talking about the spiciness but went back for more.
 
Prepping an awesome dinner with the Fiddleback pro-Kephart. All fresh veggies from my garden and some others. Smoked seasoned pork steaks, baked in beer, BBQ on the grill. Sautéed zucchini, roasted garlic hero potatoes, green beans with garlic. Damn good vittles washed down with a really cold Bud Lite.
