• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Got to do some "pest" control at a dairy this weekend. Corn fed Eurasian collard doves sure do eat good! The amount of cow feed that they lose to the birds is pretty crazy. We'll be going back to help out some more in the future!

With the weather so beautiful and sunny, why not smoke me a whole chicken?

The always amazing Patch broke it up like magic.

For those who have a smoker and aren't sure what to do, go for a whole chicken. It is hard to mess up and finishes amazing.

The berries are Persimmons. They are ripe now and delicious. Gathered quite a few the last few days, and more on that in another post later. The drink is actually a Snapple my daughter left in my cooler in the truck the day we went hking, which will also be included in the other post :)
