Yum, that soup looks fantastic.

Beautiful, well used woodsman, can’t wait for mine.

Thanks Abe, the chicken soup is one of my favs and this batch is pretty good :)

This Woodsman is almost 5 years old and has done a LOT of kitchen duty since I got it.

i want some soup now. i've never made it though:eek:

Well... I was thinking I should bring my big pot, a my frying pan, and my hot plate the next time i come down and make some beans and fried corn cakes, but I could do soup instead I guess. I'll just bring the pots and hot plate I guess and see what you're more in the mood for the day I get there lol

Lol, either one works for me too. I have a lot of experience at both. The beans go back to my early childhood, especially during the recession of the late 70s. But the soup goes back to the late childhood days of living on the streets and trying to stretch a few things into meals that would feed the groups of kids that just kept growing. We lived out the story of "Stone Soup" on several occasions over those four years. So I have more than forty years experience with pots of beans and more than thirty with pots of soup. Beans are more of a comfort food for me, and soups are more nutritional...but I'm good with either and fried corn cakes go with either :D

that might be the first entry via desert
