Fighter Step by Step

Charles just fantastic .. Thank you for taking the time. The knife and your pics of the proces where very enlightening and it was very cool of you to do this thread.

Here are the photos of the sheath made for this knife by Paul Long. In my opinion it is spectacular. The inlay is alligator. I'm going to put these images in my thread, but figured they should be in this one as well.

Great knife Keith congrats.

The sheath is by far the nicest sheath I have seen for a Loveless styled knife period. Pauls pics do not do justice to his work and I am sure this pair in person is even more stunning. Sorry paul about the pic comment but you know I love ya. :D

wow:eek: i just read through this thread and all i have to say
is that my jaw hurts from hanging open.
thank so much for doing this WIP:thumbup:
such a great looking knife.

Simply astounding. To be able to see the various stages in the creation process brings an even greater beauty to this jaw-dropping knife.

Congratulations on a job very well done.

Knife and sheath are both outstanding. This thread was a real treat - particularly since we rarely get to see a detailed WIP on a stock removal piece. Very informative and thoroughly enjoyable.

Come to think of it, I sure wouldn't mind seeing a Paul Long WIP. ;)

Keith you are a braver man that I to be importing a knife with interior mammoth on the handle and reptile skin on the sheath.

I agree with every point.
Keith, a shame you couldn't have worked in a little tortoise shell. Perhaps an inlay on the sheath strap button. ;) Just kidding of course.

An outstanding knife/sheath package, and thanks so much Charles for sharing it's creation with us.

I've loved this thread, and Keith's knife and sheath were delivered yesterday. I'll do my thang over the weekend. News as I do.

Excellent!

Great thread and exceptionally fine looking knife.

Thanks for taking the time to post it Charles and Keith for suggesting the WIP thread.

Congratulations to both....and of course to Paul for another stunning sheath.

Peter

I would like to thank everyone again for your kind words.

Here is what Coop came up with.

Thanks Coop.

Take care

Charles

Absolutely stunning. I would really like to thank Charles and Paul for bringing this beautiful package together and Coop for showing us how great both the knife and sheath are.

That really has everything going for it as a package deal! The knife, sheath and the photographer! Excellent work from all.

I am beginning to see that I am going to need to order a sheath one day from Paul Long!

Charles's execution/fit/finish is just stunning, my second favorite Paul Long sheath to date and Coop tied the package together superbly as always.

An ALL AROUND winner in my opinion.

Charles, thank you for taking the time to create this thread! It's been fun and enlightening, the end product is fantastic!

Keith, you're a lucky man. :) A smart one too.

Charles, it's always a pleasure working with you and your knives. They make ME look good.

Paul, my wife looked at the photos and said: "Nice knife. Is whoever makes the sheath the best out there?" I said: "Yes, he is, and yes, you have met him."

This was originally going to me and then to Paul. I suggested a reroute and delay. So glad we did!

Thank you all. My task was the easiest.
