First Look - Kershaw Echelon

Looking at it again in the closed position, this thing absolutely begs for a Spyderco hole. Wish an agreement could'a been cobbled together. Don't get me wrong, I like the design either way, but there's so much room!

I Want One. It's Official. I Love It.
It Looks Like An Amazing Knife And I Love Kershaw. I'm Going To Have To Get One.

I read up to page 10, and didn't see any of the obvious. I know it's an in-house design and all, and I love the design, but does no one else thinks this looks a lot like a Strider SJ75?

It's been mentioned a few times. I thought it was in this very thread, but it's definitely been discussed on BF.com in several others.

Posture is much different. Front and ass end lines are not similar. Blade shapes are off as well. Maybe it's me, but not seeing anything similar except perhaps they're hanging out in the same genre.

Great looking blade! Glad to see that these will be hitting the market soon, definitely in for one

Yes, it was stated by me back in #260 of this thread. My point was not to say that this is a copy of the SJ75, but more that seeing how popular the SJ75 seems to be with people, it's safe to assume that a knife with similar overall silhouette and grinds will also look attractive to a lot of people with the trends of today.

All the best, -Thor

OK, it's March. Where's my Echelon? Hello? Kershaw? Hello?

Oh, didn't you hear? You weren't home when the package showed up. I was walking by and the mailman said I could have it. It's awesome! I'm currently using it to cut lesser knives in half. Sorry you missed it!

I got my Echelon back from Kershaw yesterday, complete with its new replacement scale. If you missed the other Echelon thread awhile back, I bought an Echelon that ended up having an unfinished scale on one side, making the knife rather uncomfortable to hold onto. The new scale makes all the difference. It is now a great little knife and will get some well-deserved pocket time. :)

Anyone have a head's up on when more will hit the dealers? Any secret hidden corners to find them in?

some d-bag stole my kershaw ET so i am eyeing this down now since the ET was my only kershaw and my collection has 1 knife from every company i like

Does anyone know where I can buy an Echelon for a decent price? Their out of stock everywhere that I've looked!
