First Look - Kershaw Knockout

The matching lock bar and polished high spots on the scales really set the knife off. Before it looked like a prototype, now it looks like a finished knife.

Nice pocket clip on that one, too.

The polish job on the handle makes the knife look a thousand times better, and I was already in love with it.

So here's what I'm thinking ...

Maybe, just maybe, you could use this site as a testing ground. Issue say couple dozen "test" knives to a few select posters ;) And let me (I mean us) test them out ... and we'll let ya'll know what we think ...

Whadda' ya say ? :D

This baby is looking better and better all the time.

...another great looking knife from Kershaw. Every time I handle a Kershaw I'm so impressed by the quality and workmanship.

The Echelon looks like a nice EDC, this one's looking more like a "harder-use" piece. The alum/steel combo is intriguing.

Bump for my favorite of the 3 protos. Love the design, genius lock, and blade shape.

but dammit, why do they all seem to be A/O?
I just remembered the reason Dorito Monk...A/O's sell better for us, by a lot. :)

We did go back and forth on this one though. Personally, I would have gone manual, but have to admit the A/O works well within the pattern. We'll see what flushes out at SHOT. We get enough call for manual, we'll change it up.

Will keep you posted.

BTW, this knife carries pretty well, gonna make it my EDC for a stint. :D

I really like this knife. I could easily see going into my EDC rotation. It has a great blade, strong framelock, and excellent low riding pocket clip. For me, that's perfection!

Very nice design. Loving everything, except the low rider. May just have to get one anyway.;)

The more I see this the more I really like it. I can't stop coming back to look at the symmetry of the blade, it looks very utilitarian. Can't wait. Thanks Thomas!

This is the best of your new offerings. Great blade shape and grinds, interesting new sub-frame lock, flipper, AO, and low rider clip. Excellent!

Okie-dokie. That does make a great deal of sense.

Dorito Monk,

I don't know if it will work with the Knockout, but when I removed the AO spring on my Blur, it worked like any other well-made liner lock. Still does.

Damn, this knife keeps getting better and better. I'll send you my address for the one with the polished flats ;)
