I’m running a Kopfjager K700 with a Reaper Grip. I like it but do a lot of walking so I’m thinking about getting the K800 which is carbon fiber. I’d also like to go to ARCA Swiss mount, the Reaper Grip is nice since you can basically put any rifle on it but when you’re out in the field walking around the rifle sometimes gets canted and you have to straighten it out. Currently running a Fox Pro Inferno but would like to upgrade to the X24.What tripod are you using? I'm looking into getting one for thermal night hunting. I need to get a call too. Any you prefer?
Sadly, not the biggest. 7 years waiting for a draw tag. Shot opening day (today). Will do a shoulder mount considering I'll probably not see another tag for a decade.
"Not the biggest" looks a whole lot bigger than an unfilled tag.Sadly, not the biggest. 7 years waiting for a draw tag. Shot opening day (today). Will do a shoulder mount considering I'll probably not see another tag for a decade.
Well the day couldn’t have ended any better. We watched 7 does this evening and then with only about 4-5 minutes of light left to see through the scope this guy walks in at 75 yards. He was full rutting and zeroing in on where the does last were. He stopped broadside right in front of us.
Literally my 12yo son’s 2nd time to hunt today and he gets a 8pt buck. It wasn’t the huge guy he missed this morning but I couldn’t be more proud of him! I started hunting at age 7 with my dad and didn’t get my first buck until I was 16.
I forgot to mention his shot but yeah he hit it just a little high above heart but severed the spine and it dropped dead where he shot it. Perfect in my book!Awesome, congratulations!!!
Just look at his smile, that says it all
Beautiful 1st Deer and such a good shot too
I’m proud of the both of you![]()

Wow. That’s a good looking buck. They’re taunting me now. Best buck I’ve seen since we’ve been at our new place…in the field behind my house.
