Fisk Micro Show 2010 - Preview

Here's a large double edged fighter. 10.75" damascus blade, damascus fittings and tapered frame handle, nice preban bark ivory, 14.75" over all. On it's way to Paul for a sheath.

I'm glad that Sir Long has discovered beaver tail. That stuff looks great!

This is an approx 9 1/2 inch blade bowie that has a classic ladder pattern set into it. The handle is Sambar stag with a double sculptured guard and a copper spacer. I did just a touch of engraving on the face of the guard and will leave it up to the buyer if he wants it futher engraved. My personal opinion is that I am just jumping up and down wanting to engrave the guard however it is nice the way it is, so the new owner gets to decide, whomever will be drawn for it. It weighs 11 ounces with the balance being at the leading edge of the ricasso. This one makes you feel like you should be on the walls of the Alamo just waiting for someone to get close.

Here is 3 I have been finishing up. Please excuse the photos.

The first is a little Damascus hunter with a stag handle, stainless fittings and a micarta spacer. Overall length is 9 inches.

The next is a vest pocket fighter with a stag handle, stainless fittings and a file worked titanium spacer. Overall length 11 and 1/4 inches.

The third is a Southwest style vest pocket Bowie with a stag handle, stainless fittings and a copper spacer. Overall length 11 and 1/4 inches.

I have one or two more on the bench.

Very nice Pete. I particularly like the blade shape on that vest fighter.

This one approaches perfection, Don, and that Sub-hilt is such a beauty. Then there's Jerry's stunning Mother-of-Pearl delicacy. What a treat the Micro-Show will be.

Big blade, big ivory, fittings, yet light and fast. There is a skill to that, and Don has it! Really like the latest a lot.

Just some great looking knives being posted. What a treat!

Another stunner Don, . You be sure and keep Pete out of trouble down there in those wild Arkansas hills. :D
