You could be right and it makes sense, but it looks smaller to me. If I had a “hunting” knife, I’d like a hole in the7-8mm vicinity, I guess. Let’s see what our friend will measure…I predict it’s just a little larger than 9mm
Your Arab friend hasn't made a spear with it so I can't comment on the positioning for that, but seen it done on video.
