Thanks for the nice comment B Burke . Yes the scales on the middle one are Osage over black micarta liners. This one is going to be my keeper/user so I can watch the color change from lighter to carmel brown after some UV exposure.

I am not fully decided yet, but one or both of the other two shown above may be sacrificed to fund a Light Medium Chopper pre-order.

Well I can’t remember who or where I saw someone put FK2 scales on their FK3 but I agree that they fill out and feel better in the hand. Got these terotuff fk2 scales for just shipping costs to try them out on my FK3.

clinton1 yes, general whitetail season ends at sunrise on January 1. But there's a special late season covering does and antlerless bucks until January 19. Some places here get special management permits to hunt from October 1 through February 28/29. It does vary somewhat, depending on the county.
