UT34...can we get some beam shots? I'm very curious about the pattern from the Tri-EDC at reasonable distance in both medium and high outputs.
ETA...found a few images on the Web and esp. CPF....but I'm still hoping for better images if you (or anyone) can snap a few.
Will do at some point, let me know if you have specific criteria...
I want a Mac so bad, but...I'm guessing you know.

There has been an incredible amount of information shared on this thread started 29 pages ago by Need2Know. I carried a flashlight everyday for 35 years of LE, most of it was crap compared to today's offerings. Old habits are hard to die so a flashlight, knife, pen and gun are still items on my person daily. I still dabble in LE intel, family farm, contracting of sorts all of which said items are mandatory. I still do not understand how ill prepared the majority of people are, if the lights go off, bedlam ensues, to most of us here, it's more of a "oh well" situation.
I'm in the same situation as you Luck, I've mined the hell out of flashlight information and purchases. The end conclusion is I presently carry my Sunwayman V11R with RCR123's because it meets my needs. Pop a fresh rechargeable battery in every other day and carry a spare CR 123. I like the tail light on off switch and the magnetic lumen control ring. Not of the Hinderer quality that we are accustomed to, but my HDS 200 Rotary may someday arrive and displace my current go to torch.
Purchases have subsided with a dog pile of reasonably priced torches. Like someone said "it's not the destination, it's the journey"
