Flashlights

Wondering if you can put the flush mount battery tube of the 200 to the head of the 250? I haven't asked Henry, but would think that it may be a possibility.

Well, back to my flush mount rotary 200. The raised 250 rotary will ride bedside.
I can't keep the thing from coming on in my pocket (frustrating) I liked it except for that.

Got tired of strangers pointing at my crotch and saying "Oooh... it Glows".
My flush mount rarely (if ever) came on in pocket.

Well, I will reserve my praise of the product until it is in my hands, but Dan from Thor's Hammer Leather quoted me 2 weeks to get my holster, and it shipped in 2 days. His pic below. Hopefully should have it Saturday, and will post impressions.

UT, when I was contemplating buying an HDS I had reached out to Dan. He works closely with Henry and is his voice on the HDS #16 thread over on CPF. He had a deal that if you ordered the HDS through him, he would give you a $25.00 credit on a holster. Let us know your impressions when you get it. I like the looks of them but I don't like wearing things on my belt.

I am definitely not a belt fan either, so this will be interesting. This was easier than getting a clip added to the Knurly though.

Is there a clip or belt loop on the holster? I think that a clip on the back of the holster in lieu of a belt loop could make for a decent pocket carry option.

When you get it do you mind posting pics of how the light rides in it and what the clip looks like? thanks!

Let us know how these belt rigs work for you guys over time for your primary illumination tool.

I only carry a backup on the belt in a simple case (that shipped w/ one of the mass-produced offshore lights). I'd really dislike it for the primary light but the negatives are manageable in its backup role.

Very nice. I did hear back from Mac tonight. Unfortunately, he cannot add a pocket clip after the fact due to how he manufactures the the button threading. He was able to confirm that my copper knurly was one of a kind, and he did not plan on making any more in copper.

Bummer for the rest of us, awesome for you - congrats, that's way cool!!

He still makes Copper Tri-EDC's.... Which is what I wanted, and posted tons of WTB's for about 2 months with not a single copper offer other than what I got. Should be a testament to what he makes. I still prefer the form factor of the Tri-EDC, and my Al version will probably be carried more often than not. I jumped on this one because I was not sure if I was ever going to get the chance to buy a copper Tri on the secondary market.

Can I put in a request for some HDS-250 & wharncliffe pics fellas? I need some background pics to live vicariously through ya'll til mine get here!
