Flashlights

Haha I'll take it!

I'm now surpassing company lasers. They are getting 60 second to 2 minutes from 1w.

I'm getting 8 min from a 2w

I'd love to send wicked lasers one of mine just to be a dick :p

Is that 8 min before the battery dies, or before the whole thing goes thermonuclear? ;)
I want one of those lasers, but I'm afraid I'd get into trouble with it.

I don't have the time to say everything right now...may add more later. But discussion on size of the pocketable light is recently of topic here...so, I snapped an image of two very, very different lights. However the both run a single CR123 and both produce around 200 lumens max. USD for scale.

A smaller HDS would be ideal, so any custom would need to best it in most every way. Lighter, brighter, grippier, and so on...

Well I can destroy it in brightness. And most likely match the size with more grip.

But the output. I can do 5 times that very easily. So high you would use for distance spotting, medium for longer runs but still 500lm, low would be for looongg runs, and I can do moonlight if needed.

In spirt of not causing any feathers to ruffle for any reason...I'll be sending you an e-mail or PM this evening to further discuss this/that.

I think you just made N2K's year if you can meet his requirements Tmack!!! Hope you can do it!!!

I haven't disappointed yet. :)
Or no one has been honest enough to tell me. Lol
But in the Internet sales game, people don't really hold back.

We shall see...in the dark, if all goes well. I'm a picky dude and the light thing is a huge deal for me. So, if TMack's got the skills to work with me...then .

:D challenge accepted. It's more fun this way. Pressure! My favorite way to work. It makes me smile.

Even if the light thing goes south at least I know who to get a neat light amplification with stimulated emission of radiation device.

I don't either, but boy, people love them. Just fun. I like things that are amazing, intriguing, powerful. 3w lasers qualify.

I am seriously looking at buying a McGizmo. I have heard great things and have been reading up on them for a few weeks. My HDS clicky is awesome but it's just too big to EDC in my opinion. It will stay in my jacket pocket for nighttime walks with the dog. I also have a lens light micro that I love but it's a little under powered and I hate that it has no clip. Do any of you fine folks have any recommendations on which model McGizmo I should seek? Also do any if you have pictures of some various models next to an HDS or a Lenslight so I can see a size comparison? Thank you in advance for your help. :) -Jensen

The Haiku. But, it isn't much smaller than an HDS clicky and nearly the same weight (Haiku is 1/8" shorter and a couple grams lighter than the Clicky).

McGizmo Haiku Nichia 119 is #6. Great light, but not my favorite anymore. The orange MDC and #4 modded Nichia 119b Surefire are the 2 I have carrying the most.
