flea market finds

It's an edger with a six inch wide reel mower in addition to the disk. Couldn't pass is up for $15.

Had some less than good luck with my photo skills last night but here's one...

This guy came from a flea market / antiques show two weeks back. It's old, there's a very light marking at the base of the blade that I believe says "France". It's thick (looks like around 5/32") and heavy. $10.

I did a little bit of file work on the edge bevels and she took a wicked sharpness. I've done a few test hacks on an unsuspecting railroad tie and a nice edge coupled with the heft of the blade makes for a very deep bite.

I will have to look for some onsite...maybe a midnight hike is in order? I hear they are sweetest under a full moon. But, alas, we shall be moon-less.

I picked this up a couple weeks ago. The guy I bought it from knew nothing about it. It's not a JK but seems to have a good heat treat on a quality carbon steel. I convexed the edge and have been impressed with the size to performance ratio it provides. Can't expect much more for $20.

got 2 of these last Sunday

@ I-80 Flea market (about 5 miles from the JK Factory) 2 for $25

Got this for $1.50 last weekend.

Great shop stool, Jeff. Got one pretty much like that myself.

Found this for a quarter up north a few weekends ago. Too odd not to grab. It says NEW RK BRAND on the handle, only marking I could find.

Colonial
it was part of a 3 for $15 deal, the other 2 were a nice Colonial 2 blade fish knife and a like new Schrade SP7
This one is in the pocket today

Me too! Sabre brand Irish made. Got this thing for $8. The blade was nothing but rust, but the caps were just fine. I think they might be nickel? Does anyone have info on this thing?
