  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

FOG,S Passaround thread

The passaround knives have been returned back to me. The Bocote handled, sorta spear pointed, kinda scandi ish knife  is drying after multiple coats of spar varnish. I did some reprofiling and a lot of thinning ( per y,alls advise) . It,s going to the kitchen after it dries, which is where the wharnie now lives. I used the wharnie to slice up some ham last night and it did a great job of it ! The bent knife got shortened and sheepfooted, it will be used as a general shop/utility knife.

The small fixed blade is going to be a standard model in my line up, cause i REALLY LIKE it!! As did some of you, as well as some folks who ordered copies of it after having seen it.

I have some 1/8th 01 in route that i,m going use to do a run of them. ANYBODY WHO WANT,S ONE. Should send me a email.

I,m very happy with how the Tung oil finish on the handle,s held up ! That,s the 1st time i had used it and had no clue how it would do.

Smitty did i miss your review somewhere ?

THANKS EVRYONE !!! And feel free to add comments or suggestions.

Fit and finish is something that wasn,t talked about much, please comment so i know how i did and where i need to focus more attention.
