Can a folding bushcraft knife compete with the fixed blade version?

And yes, that is a matched set. :D

I just saw my new baby very the very first time, the black G10. Now all I'll have to do is wait for the usps stork for delivery tomorrow.. Counting the hours.. :D:D:D

Now I am in line - just wish I would have gotten in sooner. Excited and sad at the same time.

Thanks for the heads-up guys! I added my 2 cents. :D :p

I should mention that if you ordered a Bushcraft Folder with no sheath specified, I am still including a carry case because I don't want to ship it "loose" in a box. That's why you're seeing the black nylon cases. They're pretty tough and can be carried vertical/horizontal. Not as nice as the leather, of course, but an acceptable transportation case...similar to a leatherman. Enjoy!

That black canvas on orange one looks familiar. I think it'll become a good friend to my Monster Nessie.

The stork made it with my new baby and she's a beauty, and to answer the question her tooth is SHARP!
Haven't had time to make her new clothes so she's sitting in the "toolbox" belt sheath I made awhile back with the trusty Surge.

It seems like a ritual for me that almost every serious new knife I get bites me once and normally only ever once. The length of time between when I get the knife and the "bite" seems to determine how long I'll actually carry that knife on me before swapping out. The shorter the span the longer I carry the knife. Most knives are a couple weeks. So my new girl just set an all time record of less than 5 minutes. I'll tell you this she is scalpel sharp.

Now I don't want it sounding like I'm reckless or anything since I've never need stitches anytime this happens a cleaning and a band-aid and I'm good. It’s also not like it happens all that often I think my last cut from a knife I carried was sometime last year. I get way more paper cuts than knife cuts in any given year.

So my question is does this seem to happen to anyone else?

G4g - so glad you like it. And if it's any consolation...the first thing my Belgian Malinois did when I picked her up as a puppy was to bite me. :D That's how I knew she was the one. :D :D

Those look great! I really really wish I had signed up a lot sooner. That black handle one with the red (orange?) liners is amazing!
