Yeah I got screwed! On the phone then nothing!

Guess once these ship, I'll get one off the exchange the first week... BUT I'd rather get one in the second 20.. hopefully :)

Yeah, I wasn't around the internet fast enough either. I can see this is gonna be one of those knives that I look at for a while, then just give up on because its just too hard to be in the right place at the right time, ya never know though, the stars might align, and I'm not giving up yet. Congrats to those that landed one!
 
Don't feel too bad...there were 450+ in that quick email. I spent all evening and most of this morning answering emails and phone calls from all over the world...wish I could have taken 450 orders instead. LOL

I do plan on having the next batch of parts ready to go in a few months. Hopefully will be a more frequent recurring process.

If I could make them any faster and maintain quality I sure would! :D

I appreciate your commitment to quality Dan! I know you would go faster if you could, and I know there's just a lot of people that want one, and no other fair way to decide how to pass 'em out. If it were easy everyone would just make their own right? ;) I've been around custom knives on the USN long enough to know how it goes, sometimes you get lucky, and sometimes you don't. I apologize for venting my frustration in your thread.
 
Dan, Did you end up deciding to number this first run? I guess being one of the first to get one of these, I just wanted it to be recognizable it was one of the first 20 you made?
 
TacBlade - I decided not to. Sorry - I understand the reasoning, but it's not really something I do. Thanks for understanding.
