Food and Blades

Great job! I'm in a similar boat. I only allow one "carb bomb" per day, which usually takes the form of pasta, rice, or bread at dinner time (or a little dessert after). Otherwise, the most I usually get is in a small amount of fruit, a little milk, or the breading on fried chicken depending on the day. (People following my food pics here have probably noticed my love of fritters.) Beyond that, I eat a lot of meat, cheese, eggs, certain nuts, and low or no carb fruits like peppers and olives.

Another big deal for overall health has been cutting out heavily processed junk and using healthy fats. After all the nonsense, it turns out that butter really is better. Butter from grass-fed cows is actually good for us. Olive and some other oils are healthy too. Otherwise, industrial seed oils, "vegetable oil", and their hydrogenated forms are not good for people.

The normal way of doing food in the United States and government-mandated education like the original grain-based "food pyramid" has done serious harm to whole generations of Americans. The degree to which many people can turn their health around with simple changes to diet is amazing.
So well said.

I used a “C” food diet. I gave up

Chips
Coke
Cookies
Candies
Cakes
Corona
Cereal

I started eating whole foods including fruits, nuts, grains ( moderately) meats and dairy. I eliminated as much processed food as possible. I am a new man.

Today's grain for the nightly "carb bomb" was corn and this one is fairly mild. It's Taco Tuesday! I paired it up with some TwoSun Ti for Titanium Tuesday.
