Chris, sorry to hear about you & the mrs getting food poisoning! If you’d seen as many Dirty back of the house Restaurant kitchens as I’ve seen doing sharpening work, you might never eat at a Restaurant again! Price or location aren’t a factor. Around here, Santa Monica, Brentwood, Beverly Hills, The Japanese Kitchens are always clean. The Small Mom & Pop Taquería shops are some of cleanest.. For some reason some of the dirtiest are high end Italian restaurants.. there is one I’d swear they cut the deserts with a knife they cut raw fish with. Guys, Eat at home as much as possible! Far better Food & safer eating for less$$

I love some artichokes, I got my wife hooked on them when we first started dating and I have to make her 2 a week now. I do a Remoulade sauce and a garlic butter sauce with fresh cracked pepper and salt.

I grow superhots. This season I have death spiral, wrecking ball, 7-pot bubble gum, amongst others.
I did a hot pepper challenge and ate an entire Jay's peach scorpion. It was F hot!

Nice, I ate a chocolate scorpion once and it was miserable haha. I tend to enjoy a little in a sauce or with ponzu and blistered.
