For all you Spyderco fans!

I was pretty excited 20 years ago when I got my tats (upper arm and back) now I'm trying to figure out how to get em' gone. Bums me out cuz gang members can get theirs removed for free. >:(

Dont worry it wont ruin your life. Work hard, be of good character and all will go well...

Happy Birthday dude !

Here's a no brainer... Just join a gang and get them removed for free :D

It would probably only be 2 or 3 grand to get it removed so it's not the end of the world when one day you realize the limits it puts on you.
I think finding an older Ford or Chevy with a functioning and existing cigarette lighter would fit nicely...No need to get all spendy when one only needs a little creativity, right?

Interesting, I've seen several girls with that tattoo, only minus the word. :p

In some cirlces, those would be considered to be "bulls eyes", but since this is not in Whine and Cheese, I digress.

That's dedication, congratulations and happy birthday.

There needs to be someone named Benchmad3 to show their dedication with one of these tattooed. ;)

I actually have one on my chest... It was my first real commitment to being inked, I was 21 at the time. I started with the BM logo when I got to Ft Campbell in 2003, then I got some stuff on my lower arms before shipping out to Iraq. I now have a tattoo collection spanning both arms, what some people might call sleeves. I can cover all my work with a long sleeve shirt.

Enjoy your tattoo, regardless of what others might say.

I was thinking about getting a Nike swoosh myself. Hey, whatever floats your boat.

I think we're all forgetting how it was to be 18 years old. The OP is showing the behavior and reactions that can be expected from someone that age.

It's not like he got a tear drop under his eye and one day, should he decide to remove the tattoo, it can be easily done.

Tattoo aside what model is that? I don't have any knives shaped like that and I wouldn't mind scoring one of them

Hey CM whereabouts did you get your ink done? luckys? or did you go out of the clarksville area?

To the OP enjoy your tats man. I think i know more people with tattoos than without nowadays ;) By the time your 25 and out of college the soacial norm will have changed enough that it probably wont be as big a deal as it is now.

I would opine that the OP is reacting the way he is because what he thought was a good idea turned out to be, in fact, not. He was looking for validation here but what he got was sober opinions from responsible people. He now realizes that the majority opinion here is true and valid and yet there is nothing more he can do about it. Hence, the affected indifference. Us old timers were 18 once so let's just try to understand that mistakes can be made that won't be the end of the world. And the OP did say that "Im into art and knives so putting the two together ..." and he can always put the two together and slice off his ink. :p:D

I regret my first 2 tats, both at 19. I had the first surgically removed and still have the skin somewhere in formaldehyde. I still have the second one, a Strider logo that a friends husband did for $15 IIRC after he had just been paroled. It looks like a $15 tattoo :barf: but I was young and wanted something cool... At the time I was head over heels in love with my Buck/Strider 880 tanto. I keep it as a reminder of my stupidity.

My latest tat is the lower limit of my right sleeve. It's the Dalton FTW logo, which Dalton got from some graffiti on a wall in Escape From New York.

I have 2 brandings that I got when I was young and stupid.

One is a bulls face on my left forearm, and the superman symbol on my right forearm.

I would give anything to get rid of them.:(

Oh shoot! I didn't realize that was one of your tats. I posted that in another thread. I found it when I google images strider knives tattoo. Sorry about that.

Strider is in the habit of giving knives away to Strider tat guys. just an aside. Hehe.

I'll make sure I show it to them at the next CA knife show!

If you do this get Nike to pay you. I heard of companies paying people
to put their brand on their body. Ya never know...

Charlie Mike, you should get a couple of free 42s :D
