It's a comfy 19 degF here right now, but it's going be the high and it's going to get chilly tonight. The rain turned to ice and snow overnight, so we have a few inches, but it was so windy that most of it is in drifts next to bare areas. I did my first barefoot/shorts walk in the snow of the 23-24 winter a little while ago to get a package from my sister brought to my condo. She was a little upset when she saw me and yelled at me to go back inside, but I was already half way through the drift to her car. The sheet of ice under the snow made footing a little tricky, but I was more careful on the way back.
I just realized that I miss shoveling snow in shorts and either in flip flops or barefoot (if it wasn't too wet). And by "miss," I mean not really. My condo HOA is an accursed thing, but at least they do the snow removal among other outdoor maintenance. I'm almost 59 and I wonder when my tolerance for cold is going to come to end. Probably soon!
Had a Buck 112 LT and a 426 in the pockets of my hoodie. The tracking for my new 110 from the #5 stealth run is supposed to arrive today!
