It was 22F when I was shoveling with the 110LT in my pocket this morning.

18F when I finished my run this afternoon. (It was on a treadmill at our local Y. Trails in this weather are ankle killers. The slushy snow from a couple days ago has frozen into uneven rocks that will hurt you.)

Now, it's -1F and the wind is picking up.

41 outside in the morning..High of 61 later in the day. Heat set at 73 on one side of the house 71 on the other. I'll probably take a 112 when I go to my Brother Charlie's house for dinner tomorrow. Remember we got room down here in Florida..

It's 0 degF here. That usually irritates me. If the weather isn't tough enough to go below zero, it shouldn't play around just getting to zero. Stay in your lane at 1 degF, weak weather fronts!

I'm almost 59 and I wonder when my tolerance for cold is going to come to end. Probably soon!

I so agree. I grew up in the southeastern US and love cold and snow. However, arthritis and joint issues make me think time to search out a warmer climate soon.
Today while dealing with the snow with -19 wind chill there will be a 112 on the belt.

So . . . it's just before 08:30 and it's -9 degF with a windchill in the -30-somethings. Based on the forecast, it's still going to be below zero at noon and the wind isn't going anywhere.

I'm old (by normal standards, but obviously below average age for the Buck Forum), I'm tired, I'm grouchy, and I don't feel like wearing long pants. I believe that I shall abort the mission to practice at the range today.

On night shift on a service rig in northern Alberta. Got down to -59 Celsius with the wind chill last night. Literally had to get chipped out of my rain gear with a claw hammer after clean up.

Just had an Olfa knife tonight.

Our contract says we don't work in temperatures / wind chills at - 20 f or lower.

And there's those that, for various reasons, do work in those conditions.

I salute you folks.
You can dress for the cold, but dressing for wind isn't easy.
You must pack one heck of a huge lunch!

I think I canceled my range session prematurely. It's 12:25 now and the temp has soared to a comfy -4 degF. Still windy, though.

-20 f here last night, -55 wind chill, hasn't been above zero since Friday, and won't be until Tuesday according to weatherman, a week from today and we finally go back to roughly normal seasonal temps.

Okay, pretty sure that's long pants weather. Then coldest I've ever experienced was -31. When I say "experienced," I mean how cold it got outside while I was busy hiding inside!

I did shoot a USPSA match at -8 degF back in 2003 or 2004, though. Attendance was . . . light . . . that time.
