for winter, what Buck ya carrying and how cold is it...

Well... tried to make it to work, but the "never seen snow" crowd, has the highway down to 15mph... so I turned around. Drove the even slower way home so I could grab " yinz" some photographs of why I love New England weather.
Lol, my wife calls it "the annual meeting of the summer tire club" 😄

Good morning Buck nuts, I slept in big-time, warmed up to a balmy 1 degree and going to get up to maybe 10-11 later, snowmobilers are lovin it. I think today is a good day to strap on my badass 119 magnacutie.

11 degrees today and Fuzz Nugget still prefers the indoors.

I'm carrying a 110, I need the extra weight for traction.

got this one with me tonight.....

We didn't get any of the predicted snow here in my little town. Just ice. Our county road commissioner has declared our roads impassable, as they're covered in about 2" of solid ice. Good time to stay in and look through my Buck collection. My Beagle, Bailey, needed some fresh air today, but too cold to walk around.20240115_101551.jpg
I'm ready for spring. Stay warm, yall!

Dogs and cats are my favorite kind of people.

6 Degrees here currently, got a couple more real cold ones on the way, but Sunday breaks the pattern and after that should have highs a little above freezing and lows in the 20's, which is tolerable at least, lol, been just too cold to work in my shop for the last two weeks and i'm waiting on warmer weather to do some mods on my 1x30 belt sander, kitchen knives are dull and wife is not happy with it, but no way i'm doing all those long-bladed crapsteels by hand.

Currently rocking my new fav, the 110 magnacutty, lol, feel like i'm 15 again carrying this thing and eager to show it off.

It’s currently 21F, with a 14 kt NW wind and a feels-like temp of 7F on Cape Ann, MA. I’m carrying my modded 2-dot 110. I rounded the underside to be more ergonomical. It’s like a hybrid old-school/modern frame.

The blade was tipped and over-sharpened so I kind of flat ground it to thin it out. I’m pleased with it so far.
