for winter, what Buck ya carrying and how cold is it...

Typical Pennsylvania November weather here. The high temp may only reach the 30s one day & the next it'll be a balmy 50 degrees. It usually cools down around the middle of December & then gets really cold for Jan & Feb. I've been carrying this one for the last couple months:

if he comes two states lower he'll see me wearing a winter coat when it hits mid 60s.......

It's 40 now. I think it went up to 47 today. Barely flannel shirt weather let alone a jacket!. I still haven't put my cargo shorts away. Lol

Here is the Buck in my pocket today. It didn't do much besides cut up some apples. Aldi's has some good ones.

I'm over the hot and sunny summer we had. It was still almost 70 the other day. Relentless sunshine every day. Bring on the grey and cold.

I dislike the cold and dark. I already miss sun down at 9pm we had in the summer. it's kinda too cold here where I am in the winter, for me. one of these days I'm gonna head back down to s. Florida or keys to be warmer, or some island near the equator......

y'all can have all that frostbite in minutes, ice and snow, dark and dreary......

That's definitely how most people feel. All the snowbirds in the area are flocking south. I'm sure the villages in Florida are bumping right now.

We have kids & family scattered all over the country, but the more we see, the more we like it just where we are. Back here in the sticks. I guess I'm just getting old & my people filter's full.

Dark & dreary is the best time to catch up on hobbies!

I haven't shot this old Tikka in more than 25 years so I decided it was time to dig it out of the cabinet. Bought a new set of dies and a hand press to replace the very old (circa 1971) Lee Loader that I last used in the late 90's and now I can get working on some loads to test.

If you look close enough you'll spot the chosen knife today (055). I had complained about the finish when I first received it but once I re-read the description, it was exactly as intended. It is now one of my favorite "pocket" knives of my entire collection.

28 F and the first snow of the season. I have "important" things to do, but I'm just looking out at the snow. I think I'll go for a walk and then get to work.
