-54.4°F with the windchill again this morning. No more long days on the highway for this old geezer but my better half has to endure another year of working, at least.

Going to pocket this one as I amble the 1/8th mile to the mailbox soon...

They were talking near record lows with wind-chills around -20f.
I don't think it got that cold, but not working anyways is fine by me. This being outside every day in the weather is getting old.

I'm going to recycle a pic from a couple weeks ago, because I ain't ready to go out there just yet. Even my old labrador, who usually has to check out the whole back yard, didi her business & ran back to the porch.

It was -15 F for this morning's duck hunt. The river had ice flowing in it, the dogs could not stand the cold on their paws and there was no way we were putting them in the river with the ice. We sat in the truck for over an hour and didn't not see a duck flying.
I had this with me.

Things have warmed up, but it is windy. I25 is closed for the most part, with winds gusting to over 80 mph near Chugwater.

I have a good friend in Navarre Beach and he sent a video of it snowing. He is less than a mile from the gulf

I wish we had some. The wife and I got snowshoes last winter and they haven’t been used once so far! We barely had any snow that stuck last winter also.

every winter and this is the first winter in a few years we would have been able to enjoy them!! DARN!!! We got 6-8inches on the ground!!
