Formal Occasions and what- or IF- you carry

Case is as dressed up as I'm willing to get.

I wear a suit everyday to work. A mnandi and a Sak compact with custom scales are always in my pocket.

I wore a suit for years. Casual days meant khakis and a blazer. I carried a Leek for a lot of those years. The premium Dividend knocked the last Leek out of my EDC rotation a few years back, right around the same time that my dress code relaxed a bit. I still carry the Dividend when I want a nice, thin, tip-down knife for shirt or breast-pocket carry. It's the hero of canvas shirt days.

only have what I call a funeral suit. so it gets used for funerals, weddings etc. I carry whatever I feel like. when I have the funeral suit on I never really plan or need to use a knife, so I dont worry about what I'm carrying.

I've never been a fashion clothing and coordinating accessories fella.

In my experience, weddings are like aphrodisiacs for women. They basically go nuts at weddings and want to have sex with any guy that looks okay. I've even known some guys that looked less than okay that made out like it was Christmas. So, I have to ask myself: Would I be thinking about a knife to prepare for a wedding?
Yes. Being too thirsty to put a knife in your pocket is not an aphrodesiac. Plus, the ladies like guys that are ready for anything.

Your Dad's side of the family sounds like fun!
I'd like to meet them; but I don't know what to wear...
