YES I GOT TA BE 1st......ok maybe thats not so great anyhow, here's mine, I got a good bit of work to do yet, but it's rough ground to 220, and the handle is roughed out, you can see the pattern in one of the pics, it's motorcycle chain, I think I'm gonna give the scales more of a radius towards the cut out, to make it flow a little better, and filework it also.

here she is:

I believe it is comfy. Ergonomic handles usually feel better than they look...Good to see some of them coming to life...

Looks good Andrew, although I don't quite get the cut out area in the handle. Well, one down, 29 more to go. Come on guys!

Phil if thats the only thing I ever do that you dont get , I'll be supprized. Actually if ya look close, thats where I put my mark.

Does this make me #2? I loved the stuff so much, I called Tracy and ordered a bunch more of it. What a generous guy to give away so much of it to different people. Usaknifemaker.com is quickly becoming my favorite site, super fast shipping too. Anyways here it is, The steel is forged 1084 with a hamon. The scale was a little short for where I had the pin holes drilled, so I added a bolster. I really like the yellow and black together and I added a thick black liner to compliment the whole thing. Here is the result.

Got mine very close to finish. Just have to do some final hand sanding and I will get pics up within a day or two. The stuff looks great. It's actually my first time working with real micarta and I like it a lot. :) Thanks again, Tracy!

Thanks, Tracey,

I appreciate the micarta.

I hope you like the results.

Tracey, I apologize about putting your scales on a kit blade.

Guys, I am really pleased how these are coming out. Thanks for agreeing to post them. This is a blast..... We may have to do this again some time.

Looks good Dave. Did you make that box? Looks like magnets for latching? What's the liner? Does it hold the knife securely from sliding around when closed? Thanks, Phil
