Local sale, gunstore closing in town and I had just heard about it that day, not everything happens online... Decided to take a look and got lucky, picked up a full size Skirmish and a Rukus. One to pimp and sell, the Rukus to carry with me for self preservation. I notified the seller later that night, but apparently he didn't get the message.
 
Well there's still BF forum "I'll take it" honor.

Edit to add can't you just say to the OP 2 little words. "I'm sorry"?
 
A Skirmish and a Rukus. Both bought on a poor collage student budget. There goes your food money for six months.:jerkit:
 
No but if you make spending money by modifying and selling Ti framelocks a good deal on a skirmish means that I make more per hour for service. I nodded my skirmish, sold it and covered the rukus at the price I paid plus a hamburger. That's how things have to work when you're a college student.

Geez loweez, I often think how unforunate it is how people seem to come out of the woodwork with tons of negativity even after they've tried to make amends. Um did I miss something when I learned about honor- one wrong turn does not deserve another. A little bit of understanding would have been all we needed here, but alas, people would rather just be hostile.

How about this, I'll make an apology: I'm sorry. There, I've said it for the second time in this thread. I can't sleep at night when my reputation is on the line, hence the posting at 4am in the morn. Believe me I'd rather be sleeping. With a lack of a 75$ to make it better, you'll have to just deal with that. Now all of you people who think you can judge my honor by a misunderstanding, think of how honorable kicking a man when he's down is. Have some compassion, we're all here for a common hobby, some with more means than others, some with much less. I've had people renege on me plenty times, I don't look at it as a huge personal insult, but then again some people take a sharpened piece of steel a little too seriously. I think I may take a sabbatical from this forum just the same. I'm sure not a great many will be sorry to hear that, but perhaps I will have fewer stomach aches for it.

Must be a tough school if you require a Rukus for "self preservation."

Your story and your attitude stink to high heaven. Put the shoe on the other foot and think about how you, poor college student that you are, would feel if someone backed out on a purchase you were counting on. And perhaps cost you a sale to someone else in the process.

You might want to mention on your resume that your word is worth $80 so that unsavory employers will have some interest.

FriskyDingo, I see your sale threads are still active. FYI, as a Gold member, you can close those threads before you move the sales over to other forums. That way, there'll be no confusion about you doing business on BFC.

Sigh. Good thing FriskyDingo is still a student, because he clearly has a boatload of learning to do, appropriate behavior being one of them. Given his posts to this thread, especially on Page 2, I am surprised that he is not yet banned.
