I read it a little differently, but you very well could be right. We can agree that he owes them the 15% and AT LEAST the money for an additional knife (maybe two). The details are important, and I hope that Gear2survive / Marc Lacrimosa will do the right thing.

Let me help you:

- ammiraglio - $ 469,99 for one knife
- basetta70 - $ 469,99 for one knife

Total for two knives $ 939,98 sent to G2S

- ammiraglio has communicated on behalf of basetta70 during the pre-order phase, the waiting phase, the refund request phase and now in the complaint phase.
- basetta70 has tried without luck to contact mr. Lacrimosa during the two years as well. Same story.

Actual situation:

- ammiraglio received $ 385,00

- ammiraglio is waiting $ 84,99

- basetta is waiting $ 469,99

MONEY LEFT TO BE REFUNDED $ 554,98

I wrote an email to Marc Lacrimosa yesterday and he replied.
He give me his point of view and I've suggested him some steps in order to solve this delicate thing.
I really hope that he will think well what to do.
Let's wait what he will deserve.

Thanks for clearing that up. Hope all ends well for you both.

unbelievable you cant keep money if a product never showed.it even states returns or refunds but there is nothing to return or refund.plain theft worded differently.never heard of having to fully prepay for a.production knife upfront then bait and switch them by offering them another iteam or less then half there money back.I foresee bankruptcy court and small claims in youre future.were is the original money they paid you its not youres till they get a product.you are steeling it if you do not refund it.remember google and herpes are forever.youre business is done.

Be careful receiving partial amounts. Sounds like monkeybusiness to me. This company should have refunded the full amount, with an apology, from the get go.

I think we would all be interested to hear what he had to say to you. Don't let him skimp on this - you deserve YOUR money back in FULL, not a cent less, not a replacement product.

Baring something we have not heard about, Gear2suvive / Marc Lacrimosa owes you ALL the money. Not most, not everything -15%, not goods in trade. Marc, what are you going to do about this? When are you going to give these gentlemen back their money?

I'm going to say their are 2 sides. The older website stated that this was limited piece. They knew it would take months. They were told there was a waiting list. I had ordered 10. They started coming in from my whole seller.

In order people got them. My older website clearly stated no refunds exchanges on limited special pre paid preorders.

I offered exchanges and part cash to make it right. I too was hit hard by the economy and medical issues. At no time did I ignore them.

The 15 percent was part of exchanges. That will all be corrected. Plus that is a New website.

The customer is right sometimes but not always. I admit my end he should admitt on his end for not reading what was stated when ordered.

All is being refunded. All communication on my end from this can be directed by email from buyer. I'm fixing it.

I have a right to be just as angry. Thieris too full sides and he was offered right.

I promise I wrote I'm sure I will take on more attacks. I left my number up. Not one phone call. I'm free after 415 pm eastern

This post right here should be studied by anyone that runs, or is thinking about starting a business.
It should be discussed in every school that teaches business....

Besides the the legality issues, this is just how to do everything the wrong way.

To not be able to understand that keeping almost $1000.00 worth of a customers money for absolutely no reason, and for over a year is nothing short of insanity.

There are no 'two sides' to this story.

I think everyone involved here and watching to see what happens, would really appreciate to see what he said, or how he wishes to rectify this. I fear he will try and get out of his commitment to you and your money.

What I'm getting from this thread; if your located outside of the USA, you won't get your product, exchange or refund and owner of G2S will dog you for years.........

He'll then show up on BF GB&U spewing nonsense and still not make good, but will readily add insult to injury....nice

A lot of products from the many trustworthy & reputable US dealers migrate to the north as selection & retailers are limited here. This is good to know info, that will spread to Canadian forums.

Just did a quick Bing search for gear2survive knife shop.
Found this thread on the first page, fourth result: "Bad Gear2survive knife shop fraud"

That is devastating for any business!

We have read the forums. We have stated there is 2 sides to each story. We have started refunding them. We also are in email communication with one of the customers now.

But one thing that is not good from this forum is phone calls at 3 am in the morning. Or threatening phones calls from members on this forum. Now that is not one bit fair to my family.

I did leave my number up here for anyone that wanted to discuss it. I did not receive any calls except what started last night. That is now real professional coming from this forum.

They are being refunded as we started. We will also remove ourselves from here.

Thanks

Gastonknife and cakes

We have started refunding them. But we were put in a situation as well due to our guidelines on selling them. Sims from Italy did not state what was discussed on selling them and buying them and refund policy plus what we offered.

Sims is the only who has ever spoke to me. 2 more payments went out this morning.

Appreciate it. If you want to moderate. Please if someone wants to contact me from this forum should do it professionally not calling my phone at 3 am. Not leaving unprofessional messages.

People on here want the answer's and results I am giving them the best I can. At no point did we run, hide. Call me what you want. I had rules on my website like everyone does.

I will not shut down or change or hide my name in business over this. There is mistakes made on my part and the Italians. I will repeat 2 sides to every story and I offered a professional communication if someone wanted to call us.

UPDATE

Actual situation:

- ammiraglio's refund completed

Basetta 70 will update about his status, as now I can't contact him.

1. No one should be threatening you, that is not good.

2. Just because you put some statement on your website does not make it legal. You cannot take an order and keep a buyer's money if you cannot deliver the item. That is not conjecture or my opinion, that is commerce law & law in general.

3. Stop blaming the buyers for prepaying for an item and you deciding to keep the money. Every time you explain it, it sounds even more ridiculous.

4. Just because they are Italian doesn't mean you can take advantage of them.

5. Stop with the start of refund statements, just refund their money. Once the other buyer confirms you have done so, this will die down.

I hope you learned a lesson in business from this, I'm doubtful from your tone.
