There's nothing to be gained from piling on at this point. Everyone has made their views clear on the situation, as they understand it. Anyone who's called and harrassed this guy is at least as out of line as he has been. I agree completely that there is no appropriate resolution other than a full refund, and it seems that that's happening. I hope all parties learn from this:
1.The buyers shouldn't have paid up front; 2. the seller shouldn't have required up front payment; 3. the seller should have immediately refunded the money when it knew it couldn't deliver the product for which buyers had paid; 4. Buyers shouldn't have waited so long to pursue a claim through PayPal; and 5. The seller should swallow his pride and abandon any notion that there is a legitimate justification for keeping money paid for a product he didn't deliver.
