Especially since 50% of them don't actually sell knives to "the public".haha knowing who the dealers are isn't the challenge mate!
I haven't seen tons on the secondary, I think it's just a popular pattern.
A pattern halfway between the 21 and 71 would be a welcome new knife, maybe call it the 51 and don’t sweat the math.

Thank You!!O1 is essentially 1095 with a little Cr, V, and W added. Interestingly, in Larrin's CATRA tests, 1095 performed a little better than O1. And 420 stainless, which we often look down upon, did the same at Rc 55 as 1095 at Rc 62.
Your blue black is gorgeous!

The natural linen might be my favorite of them all.

Wow I never knew that,F and F is a better name.A little history of the Farm&Field brand!
Bill started out calling these knives Red Neck knives, until he found out another guy was using that name!! Even though he had permission to continue, Bill opted to change to the Farm&Field name, rather than risk future legal wrangles!!
I think he changed from 01 tool steel to 1095 a short time after, by 2015!!!!View attachment 2420490View attachment 2420493View attachment 2420494
Good man,im with you on that.Stand by - if I manage to reel one in it will be a user for sure!
In my book, there ain't no such a thing as a knife that's too good to use - but there are definitely some that are too good not to!
Both mine are 01 I was told it was better material, but I can’t tell any difference. Most traces of the name Red Neck have been removed from GEC's website, and relatively few were made! I don't know why Bill stopped using "01" steel??
Anyone who knows about the difference between 01 and 1095 please comment!!
