They're too round, too short, too chunky, impractical.
So I've heard, and to a certain extent agree(!).
Yet, these Weird Little Stubby Things® continue to bring me enduring delight.
Last Rodeo recently asked me if he could send me something. Even though I registered his words ("single wharncliffe #25 in white bone"), I somehow entirely failed to envision

What a beauty!
Its arrival has prompted an immediate festival of clicking, clacking and comparing, undertakings through which I enjoy my knives almost most of all-- especially the Comparing.
With its closest relative, my #25 Jack in Appaloosa bone:

Speaking of shields, GEC's UN-X-LD shield is one of my favorites. And wouldn't you know, I didn't have a #25 sporting that shield.
Until now:
Back "home" in their designated space, with my two #26s-- although I now see that I need to switch some places (based on my preferred juxtapositions).
