GEC 25s - Gots 'em?

Thanks pmew, if you get a chance would love to see your family photo of 25's.

My 2 year old is napping so it gives me the opportunity to bring the flock down from the common grazings and into the croft :)

Im not sure that there have been many additions since I last posted a group shot. With the success of GEC and its increase in popularity I find it increasingly difficult to get my hands on 25s at affordable prices - what with the exchange rates here in the U.K., and now that I've two wains the explanations and justifications given to my wife require even more thought and preparation :p

Nonetheless, 25s remain my thing

HOLY COW!! What a beautiful collection and photo! I think I have a measly 7 count, nonetheless the #25's are one of my favorite patterns due the incredible "walk and talk" on these small but robust watch pocket kings.

Two stag drop points and two stag clips, even though they are drastically different.

I've been kinda static at 78 with no duplicates.

Other pursuits, a dearth of available 25's and the aforementioned hard-to-justify prices when one does become available have made it difficult to expand the collection of my favorite pattern...

Just got my first two #25s sorry for the low quality pictures but im just happy to finally be able to post photos of my knives along with everyone else. I scored these 2 beautys through a trade I did with a fellow knife knut who was knid enough to throw in a cool GEC knife pick as a surprise bonus. I don't feel I'll need it on these 2 knives but it's still a great addition to my collection as well are these 2 little tank's. Thanks Phaint :cool:20170511_145141.jpg

This is the nicest one I've seen so far. I REALLY want a 25 sheepsfoot with wood covers. That Rosewood is beautiful. I wish I could find a 25 at a non-crazy price... there is a Bulldog Brands SFO on the auction site currently that I'm coveting, but I'm thinking the price is going to end up ridiculous....

Don't worry about the photo, the beauty of a 25 always shines through, especially the clip blade.

Just amazing pmew pmew And very funny narrative to go along with it!

Thanks and you are right about that Bulldog. Forget that Bulldog and the auction site. I'm just going to be patient and wait for 2 or 3 years until GEC makes more.

#14's or #18 Beagles are more attainable. Both are good small watch pocket knives and can still be found at a few dealers' websites.

Beautiful. Buffalo I presume. Now then, although it's hard to see in your picture I think that must be smooth red buffalo from '08? I'm not aware of another 2512 which has buffalo covers. - of course I could well be mistaken :p

Just lovely.
