Tried my hand at an apple cider vinegar forced patina for the first time tonight on my green bottle glass jigged bone. I'm pretty happy with the results. I realized after I had it in the vinegar that I probably should've wiped the blade off thoroughly before I started, to make sure there wasn't any oil left on it, but I don't think it hurt it too much.
(Sorry for the poor indoor lighting; I don't know that I'll have a chance to take better pictures outside tomorrow, so I made due with what I had.)
