I did too...thanks for the post or I wouldn't have checked .....
I just love the looks of this one. The only way it could be improved, IMHO, is by making it in Tidioute trim, so that the blade could be pinchable. I hope Old Hundred Collectibles will do a Tidioute version next time there is a run of #47s.

Just got these two in the mail yesterday. GEC did a killer job with the jigged bone options on this run. Both look great!

These are my first #47's. I suspected they would be just a little bigger than I would prefer, and they are (if they were closer to the size of the Case Swaybacks, or maybe in between, they'd be perfect), but I'm still really happy with them. I think I'll carry the Northfield today.![]()
I though these looked great as well, an SFO of black linen micarta. Pic taken from GEC's Instagram.

the jigging on my green glass is poor. worst I've gotten. large nicks in the edge and rough grooves.. 😠
Sorry, and not acceptable.
If you bought from a dealer, I'm sure they would replace it. But act fast because all these Vipers are going fast.
The three Vipers looking great together, Half/Stop!
I got one in East Indian Rosewood and really like the color of the wood.
Sharpness and spring action on this knife was very well made from GEC.
