jrawk, sorry to hear about the jigging. I have had a similar issue on another knife. I'm impatient so I just hit the jigging with 400 grit, then went up to 1500 grit and really made it a nice carry. I know you shouldn't have to but it only took a few minutes...shes a beautiful green though.

Ron, nice trio my friend!!!

nifebrite, love the rosewood...

My Hemlock bone...

Paul - Thank you my friend.:) That Hemlock Northfield has some deep colors, very nice.

The Brass Time check plates? I've never seen one, or at least never noticed one before. What purpose does it serve? Very interesting.

To all here....I enjoy all of your photographic skills, probably because I have none.
Thanks for all the good pics,
Rick

Jrawk, its always a bit of a disappointment to get rough jigging on a GEC. I have a few that came my way like that as well. Unfortunately, the ones I got were pretty much all that was available, so it's either live with it or give up the knife. One's chipped so sharp it could probably cut my hand! If you plan to use it, I'd take Paul's advice. Otherwise, don't delay, and contact your dealer immediately!

Paul, that time coin is awesome! Not to be critical or anything, but it would sure look nice next to a Tidioute!

I can never get enough pictures of a knife I really want, so I post pictures in that regard..... for others who are impatiently waiting, or for those who maybe don't know about a particular one yet..... and for those who have the same problem as me..... I just ordered another 47...

Those Hemlocks sure look nice Paul !!!!!! I now wish that I would have ordered one as well as the Smooth Oiled Bone , which should be shipped tomorrow. Take carry of Buddy !!!

Harry

Thank you Harry, I am a sucker for oiled bone as well, we could always swap for a week or two;):D

thanks paul. I'm going to do the same. will post the after shots when complete.

Is look forward to the pictures, that green you and others have is a beauty:thumbup::cool:

Thanks Ron, I sure like how it came...thanks to Barry and his trained eye to select an excellent knife for me:thumbup:

Rick the time check or tool crib tags identify an employee who has check a certain tool out from the tool crib. I'd like to find some from Schrade/ Camillus or other debunked knife companies:thumbup:

Steve, thank you and you have a great pair of Vipers:thumbup: I thought the same thing in regards to showing it with a Tidioute but I only have the Northfield Viper. I do however have it posted with my TC Barlow in both the today's carry thread and Charlie's Barlow thread:thumbup:

I'd like to see what the defective snakewoods look like if anyone has one yet.?
I think its a Sherlock Hemlock for me.:) but there might be a window of opportunity on an EDC snakewood.
Be nice to have some sort of explanation as to what went so horribly wrong that the orders couldn't be filled- out of interest and learning rather than disgruntled whinging:) I can see how it might be perceived in the wrong light.

My goodness...those are both gems!!!
