So happy they stuck with the long pull even though it's Tidioute. I like the etch, too! Fingers crossed for owls next!!
 
Really like this one! Would be nice if they'd do some Buckaroo's while their doing the 68 frame.

Fit and finish is top notch. Love the weight and feel of the all steel construction. About a 6 on pull and very smooth action. I love this knife.
 
I was on the fence about these but the long pull clip makes me want to try my luck scoring a nicely figured one.
 
So serious question, and I’m looking for an actual answer please! I have asked before, but haven’t really gotten any clarification. How do y’all go about “trying” to get in on these runs. Do you wait for an email from the dealer? Do you just keep refreshing the dealers “GEC” page? When do you even know when to start looking for the drop?

Or is this all a hush hush inside baseball information? Thanks!

Huh, would you look at that!

Yea, I think for the most part we wait for emails from dealers and generally try and stay around our phones and computers in good internet areas when we know the drop is nearing. The Pony Jack just showed up on the cover of gec's production page, so you know it's coming soon.
 
Very excited for this pattern. No frills. Just a good edc jack knife. My guess is tomorrow the site will have a full production update. At least I’m hoping 🤞 These should be shipping next week.

Nothing hush hush, just refresh the sale page at a dealer site every second on the days after the GEC page changes. Probably need to be logged in and all that stuff. Good luck, I think most of the people who buy GEC's from the dealers these days just do that for a living. People like me who actually have to work for a living don't stand a chance. Good luck, you'll need it! 🤣

BTW, really happy to see they did long pulls again. It's a great knife! I'll have to just be satisfied with this one.

 
It would be pretty hard to believe Coco is the only cover option coming. Seems like it would be a lot of wasted setup time to only do one cover and move on to another pattern.
 
I’m getting pretty dang excited for these. Hoping I can land one that’s “extra stripey” GEC has really killed it this year with their selection of patterns they have been running. I wonder what’s next after these Pony Jacks…😎🤔
