GEC 68 Pony Jack 2021

Might be a run of white owls or buckaroos (also on the 68 frame) lurking behind the corner, but for the pony jack I think this is it, just like they did a small cocobolo run of 15 boys knives last time they did the TC barlow. Would be mighty surprised if they made more.

Now that's what I'd want to see!! Would not complain a bit about only having one cover for clip ponys if they then ran owls!!

I don't have any GEC with a bail. That would be great if they do. And some of the odd acrylics would be awesome.

I spoke with Joan Mae today and she said there will only be the one cover. Bill has been known to do an addition during a run, but only time will tell as well as what they have in the plans after this one. They like to keep us on the edge.
Thanks for the intel.

Not sure if any of you guys seen but a few more photos of the pony jack were up on the site today. One in particular has a piece of paper which seems to read.

-Pony jack - Tidioute
“????” Macassar ebony-

Thoughts? Too me it seems we have our second cover.

Or it's a mistake after a week away and it's sitting in with Cocobolo handles. Only time will tell. It does say 130 , so it may be a small amount of leftover from the 86 run?

That’s my guess. Would be cool to have two different types of ebony wood for the folks who have the past pony jack in Gabon ebony.

That note actually is Bill’s shopping list and it says “mascara EBay”. Sorry to disappoint, no judging.
Hmm… I thought it said “NASCAR EBay”.

Pony Jack? Pony Car… return of the mustang again?! Or is it a Car Jack…Jack wrench return of the 86 Oil Field Jack? The answer will be revealed on ebay.

at flipper prices, of course.... 😞

In my mind, Bill H. sits in his air conditioned, mahagony paneled office (more like a tower), sipping scotch salvaged from 300 year old shipwrecks, and sends little hand written notes to the factory floor via vacuum tube directing production - like a boss!
