GEC 68 Pony Jack 2021

It would be pretty hard to believe Coco is the only cover option coming. Seems like it would be a lot of wasted setup time to only do one cover and move on to another pattern.
They've done it several times recently, so I wouldn't be shocked if it's a run of a single cover.

The fact that they just did angus jacks and 2ab barlows in the same run gives me hope for these 68s!!
I hope you are right... but I think it is a filler run between the next big run of another pattern.

I probably should clarify also, what I mean by multiple variations. GEC did no less that 6 variations of the #68 pattern last time (not including cover options).

The last pattern I can think of that had at least 6 cover options was the #19 almost exactly one year ago.

I was referring to variations, not including cover options. The last #68 run included Buckaroo stockman, clip blade main Pony Jack, spear blade main Pony Jack, clip blade main White Owl, spear blade main White Owl, stainless steel While Owls, Northfields with bails...

I’m getting pretty dang excited for these. Hoping I can land one that’s “extra stripey” GEC has really killed it this year with their selection of patterns they have been running. I wonder what’s next after these Pony Jacks…😎🤔
Like this!!!

The only all-steel knife I have with a shield that is made by GEC is a Northwoods - otherwise, all others (14s, 15, 77s, 93s,) are all shieldless, non-barlow versions as well.
My 2010 #36 Tidioute All Steel Sunfish has a nickel silver hotdog shield.

First i tought i would pass on these Pony Jack.... now that i see them, i'm gonna need one! Cocobolo wood is sexy!

That is the way of it though, isn't it? We say, "Ah, that doesn't sound like my cup of tea...", and then we see a finished product and we become easily swayed.

It's a good looking knife though, I'm looking forward to checking one out.

I wish GEC would make H40’s or even a larger fixed blade. H10 is just too small.

I have owned several of the fixed blade clip points and anything smaller than the H40 (4 inch blade) is just not useful or comfortable for me.

I’d like to see an H50 or h60-H70..........
