GEC #77 Medium Barlow Impressions

View attachment 848441 Hi All. Really enjoying the recent photos in this thread. Please forgive my ignorance, but could someone confirm whether the next run of 77s will all be two bladed or whether there will be any single blade options. I know the blades will be clip and sheepsfoot. Kinda hoping for a single blade option. Four of my favourites in the photo (edited from an image I posted elsewhere some time back). Best regards and thank to all. MJ.

I think this next run is all two blade versions but someone can correct me if I am wrong. Main blade clip (pinch-able) with the secondary coping blade.

+1 for gratuitous knife porn, -1 for taunting, so I guess you've broken even. But seriously, that's one heck of a stable you've gathered there. Wow.

Shhhhh...let me believe its special LOL

That olivewood handled knife is something else!

Matt

You bet your two-face is special. I'd carry that thing in a heartbeat. Great looking knife, I especially love the wide sawcut on the mark side with the tight cuts just in the middle.

Yeah its been in my pocket for a while now...it has alot going for it! The slim handles, perfect size and weight and the clip blades usefulness on add to the fact that its an extremely good looking knife on both sides. Get bored, flip it over LOL Oh and the patina building up on the bolsters and liners is an added plus for me.

Matt

The red sawcut or the elderberry are my preferences but didn't get a sawcut. Really no choice but to try for all 4 and hope to get one. Maybe and probably won't be the one I want the most but should be good trade stock to possibly get a sawcut or elderberry.
Good luck to all, and congrats to those who landed a sawcut,
Rick

I agree with you Sir but : This one of mine is of the same vintage as yours and looked just like yours when new . In 2016 there were 3 of us that agreed that we would make ours an EDC . This is the way mine wore from pocket wear and not in a Slip . On the later 2015 run , the same Old Red Sawcut covers had the Black wearing off much quicker than the early 2015 run .
Edited to add the forgotten picture :
