There goes my standbyMike is looking for people who have Iron Wood reservations who want to trade for a natural micarta reservation... He says he was shorted on Iron Wood
If the draw order was indicative of position, I was near the bottom of the standby list. Chances were slim and none on getting one. Looks like slim just left town. There goes my standby![]()

This whole process must have been so stressful, especially considering people being so grumpy about the lottery system. I honestly think it was the best option. Good Luck
I’m sure you weren’t excited about this sort of news being spread. I know the majority of folks (I for one) don’t know half of the hassles of your business. I just want to thank you again for your hard work to get some great knives into people’s hands. Even if I hadn’t scored one, I couldn’t deny your efforts to try to be as just as possible in giving folks the opportunity. If you need some folks with other handle materials to step up, I’ll offer the sawcut with my name on it as a swap if it helps.
I have always been notified by E-Mail .I can’t remember if we are notified by email or text when we can purchase? It’s been a long day.
knifeswapper : Mike, are you inclined to let us know how far off you are sitting with regards to ironwood vs. micarta? I'd prefer the ironwood I was selected for but if there's a substantial difference I'd be willing to switch. Thanks!

Instead of asking people to swap out, Mike ought to be on GEC's butt to fulfill the shortage of ironwood covered knives supplied contracted for.
And then Mike ought to be looking for another company to run #77 Barlow's for him....
