GEC #77 Medium Barlow Impressions

Micarta incoming. Here's hoping the ironwood standby holds. I didn't realize these were 2 blades. Not sure how I feel about that, lol.

Out of curiosity, has anyone ever dyed camel bone on their own to alter the color? This is probably not as common on a traditional, collectable knife as it is on other folders. But if someone was so inclined, it would make the Elderberry more appealing (possibly).

Or washed/bleached out the dye to make natural bone color?

I only have one knife in camel, and I haven't carried it enough to notice any changes. Will the elderberry get darker or lighter over time, I wonder.

That's a good question. My understanding is dye generally wears off/lightens over time, where micarta will darken.
