I'm torn, as I def love the African Blackwood, but that dark red sawcut on that last run is awesome... I gotta have one!
 
I can hardly wait for my smooth white bone. Wish I would have reserved a stag as well. The stag on the previous 77 barlows have been my favorite of any stag GEC has made.

You could still sign in as SURE , and most likely there will be somebody who will not buy their Reserved one. If you don't get lucky , you are not any worse off. Good Luck !!!! I hope you get Lucky. I do have a Stag and Smooth Bone Reserved.

I requested the "unbuffed" version. (darker)

Also, don't want to start any nasty rumors, but .... Since they can't get a high polish on the Natural Canvas Micarta - I asked if they could just leave the slabs and bolters both in a nice high grit rubbed finish. They said they could do that, but only on the Canvas Micarta.

What is this Mike? Is that a more polished look or a more dull look - (bolsters and scales?)? Or is this on all the versions or only the micarta versions?
 
Anyone got an example of what they think this canvas micarta will look like?

Already have 2 77 Barlows on order and 2 Washington Jacks this place is killing me.

I'm still debating between the 2 blade and one.

I'm hoping it'll be like the 15 crownlifters or perhaps like this Dowell I have with that smoothed out semi polished look where you can still feel the texture though.

That's a nice example Tim appreciate the help and like that look a lot. I see your still trying to pick how many blades!

Anytime :) Haha it's coming close down to the wire but I haven't seen many examples in GEC with a coping blade which makes this special to me. Guess I'm just gonna have to stay on task. Plus the single blackwood I have on order will be amazing. Variety is the spice of life ;)
 
Tim's picture above looks like it could also be sanded into this....so you got options. Also a very nice look.
