GEC #77 Medium Barlow Impressions

The excitement is building! I've not been this thrilled about an upcoming run in a long time. These 77 Barlows are just outstanding :thumbup:

Pity I can't get on the list as I'm in Europe but I'll keep a keen eye out on the For Sale thread:D
 
So is this the type of thing I could pre order somewhere?

You need to get an individual to re-ship for you....
Sorry that this is one of my shortcomings, just can't tolerate the liability.
 
I keep checking the GEC site, waiting for progress on the 77s. Their team does a great job keeping us updated. I'm looking forward to this release, especially the micarta.
 
Natural canvas micarta pics up on GEC's "What's Happening." Don't want to derail this thread but have to ask - "What are the stag handles in the background of this pic?" Very curious.....

The #77s' are perfect in all respect - size, weight, and a great walk and talk. I have a 77 clip-point in my EDC rotation, and it turns heads every time I take it out. Well, not to mention the superb cutting ability. I am so excited for the upcoming spear and all-steel run.

Ken, good eye! Look like #38's to me but don't know more than that. A seahorse Whittler perhaps....

I certainly agree with you Al. The Smooth Autumn Gold is right up there at close to the top IMO. It is the best of my 4 different handles , but I do not have a Stag YET.

Im on the list for the natural canvas and the ivory bone. Im really looking forward to both of these. I think they all are going to be incredible.
 
I have a pre-order on a GEC Medium Northfield Barlow Spear with a coping small blade in Ivory Bone and am pretty excited! !
