How is the bocote? Pull and lockup?Yay, Bocote! Love it. And a Harness jack! Incredible actually, not only different handle options, but whole three patterns simultaneously! This is going to be something!
How do you like the Bocote?

The Bocote is very nice. The pull, I'd say a 6 or a 7 - also very nice. Lockup is solid with no unexpected movement in any direction.
Now, if you want to know why the heads of my army guys keep going missing - I've got nothing. Probably a combination of cheap plastic, bright sunlight, and curious cats -- but I'm just guessing here.
Now the big question what is a fair secondary price because obviously only place to get it. ThanksThank you
Respectfully, we don't talk about that kind of thing here. Now the big question what is a fair secondary price because obviously only place to get it. Thanks
Understood. ApologiesRespectfully, we don't talk about that kind of thing here.
Think of this as a knife appreciation area, rather than a knife acquisition area, of the forum. If we start talking prices, there's bound to be a bunch of hurt feelings and that's not what this section of the forum is for.
I'll tell when I receive it.How is the bocote? Pull and lockup?
This is a fantastic response to another thread named practically the same lol. I’m guessing you know of the existence of that thread. The bocote is my favorite from this run. The regular jack frame is a solid foundation and works well with many blade combinations. I was happy to finally get a spear option this time around. Coupled with the no frills options of the Tidioute line the Mexican Bocote shines. With the oversized Tidioute shield and the bare end cap it is a Jack knife that could have been built 100 years ago or last month. A great knife to carry.View attachment 2306234
