Gec bullnose

I bought one in green micarta, and it is a really well built knife! It is roundish and takes up a fair amount of space in your pocket, but the action is great and the steel takes and holds a nice edge.
 
Just ordered an OD micarta model. Looking forward to getting it in. I have always wanted a soddy.

I just missed out on a natural canvas tonight. Had it in my cart, got called away to help with the little girl, came back 15 minutes later to find them sold out!
 
My first traditional was a black delrin bullnose. I reserved an orange recently. Aaaaaand then the canvas came up. I was committed to orange so just put notify on natural canvas. And THEN burlap came up and I had to reserve that. Was able to grab the canvas yesterday. So I went from 1 to 4 (eventually) in a short time. Yikes! Might need to start someone else's addiction to these by passing on the black one that started it all.

Just got mine in today. As I am a fan of OD micarta, that is the option I chose.

I could be wrong but I think burgundy is out of stock everywhere. At the time of this post, the red linen is still available from at least one online retailer.
 
You guys finally got to me. Just ordered one of the red linen versions. Been wanting an orange handle for a while now, but I couldn't resist the thought of a nice patina next to the red linen micarta.
 
I think I might have struck luck and obtained a Burgundy :cool: It's no easy task for us Europeans...:eek:mind you, it is the home of Burgundy :D

i liked my bullnose so much i went and bought a mudbug from that auction site -- anyone else have a big brother to their bullnose?

:thumbup: we have the same taste (and luck ?). Now I wonder why the burgundy hue becomes "bordeaux" here... mystery of translation! :D
I'm very curious to see a picture of the blue-jean, as these are out of reach.
